That could be a commuter in London from a certain age group. Aside from advertising on trains and station platforms, you can consider questions like: What do they listen to on their commute? What types of places do they frequent after work?

Once you have that information, you can begin to craft a campaign that makes it tough for your name to go unnoticed.

That might sound like a challenge on the face of it – but with effective planning is more than achievable.

Examples of this can be seen through our work with the Harpur Trust and its independent schools across Bedfordshire. One of its schools was keen on targeting prospective parents in certain towns and villages – many of which being commuters.

Through effective media planning we were able to ascertain the services and stations they frequently used to ensure open day advertisements were clearly visible on their journey.

A recent open day campaign was so successful that we had to end it early as all sign-up places had been secured ahead of time.
