The Prominent team are thrilled to have scooped two prestigious industry awards at a gala night in Cambridge.
The Hey Girls delivery team took home Gold in the Corporate and Business Communications Campaign at this year’s regional CIPR PRide Awards after a hugely successful first year of our partnership.
The multi-award-winning social enterprise donates period products to vulnerable community organisations for every one purchased through its corporate partnerships and first approached Prominent for support in 2022.
In just 12 months we generated 590 pieces of media coverage on their incredible work – including 40 cuttings in key trade press titles.
But more importantly, we put the Hey Girls name in front of the people who mattered, seeing significant increases in the number of new corporate partners that helped the subsequent number of donations increase by more than 10 million.
The judges said they were “impressed” with the “well-structured and clear entry for what is clearly an impactful campaign”.
They added: “The strategy was particularly impressive based on the research carried out and the right channels being used to reach their target audience.
“Measurement spoke for itself, not only showing the outputs achieved but the outcomes and impact of this well thought out campaign.”
Our ace Account Manager Keira Pearson also took home a Silver Award in the Young Communicator of the Year category in recognition of her incredible work leading on the Hey Girls account.
Keira was the mastermind behind our #Hey30Million campaign, marking Hey Girls’ incredible milestone of donating more than 30 million period products to people in need since 2018.
That campaign – which was also shortlisted for an award – generated dozens of media clippings and was celebrated by big name businesses and organisations like Algeco, Morgan Sindall Construction and King’s College London.
