Melanie is an Account Manager with 20 years’ experience in PR, journalism and customer service roles.

 

Mel’s experience spans local government PR in East Anglia and communications for the NHS, charity and care providers locally and nationally.

She has also provided PR support for some large companies in the built environment sector and spent a number of years working in highway services communications with contractors for Highways England in the east.

She helps our Built Environment clients get in front of specifiers, developers, builders, homeowners, local authorities and social housing providers and has a knack for understanding and disseminating industry policy, lobbying and PR strategy.

An extremely organised and hard-working PR practitioner, she always goes the extra mile to ensure the best service for clients.

Her naturally helpful and reliable nature means she is a safe pair of hands for clients and her skills in writing and effective communications make her a pleasure to deal with.

Mel is responsible for managing a portfolio clients and promoting them to their target audiences. These include East Cambridgeshire District Council, Daniel Connal Partnership and SEH French.

An influencer of public opinion, she aims to grow brands and help drive sales using press releases, case studies, product placement and social media activity.

She also works closely with our advertising arm to link company ad budgets to their PR aims and objectives – making the most of opportunities for double exposure.

She is attentive, positive and delivers to deadlines, making sure the needs of clients are met in a manner that reflects positively on the business.

She is also solutions-driven which helps clients trust her to manage complex issues relating to crisis communications. She spends a great deal of time face-to-face with her clients, listening, taking notes and embracing their work culture.

This allows her to better deliver their key messages and company values in her PR communications.
