The work was celebrated after we secured Woodbridge’s high street The Thoroughfare a Highly Commended spot in the national Great British High Street Awards run by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.

The town was one of just 12 shortlisted from hundreds to receive a judges visit and Prominent pulled together the most spectacular event the town had ever hosted, uniting 184 business members to put their town on the map.

During the award speeches Woodbridge was singled out, with judges describing it as “a high street which knew how to host a party” and “the best event put on by any of the high streets shortlisted nationally”.
