Prominent invests in youth with two apprentice hires

Chelsea and Jade

We are thrilled to have the opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to investing in the talent of the future by hiring two apprentices.

We have welcomed Jade Ling and Chelsea Debnam to the team on apprenticeships, bringing our team number to eight. The girls were recruited in collaboration with Key Training, and will undertake their Level 3 Business Administration qualification alongside learning about the world of PR.

Managing Director Helen Rudd said: “Investing in bright minds at the start of their careers is something that we have always done here at Prominent. Apprentices bring new energy and creativity to a team and are willing and eager to learn, so they are the perfect addition to a fast paced and growing team like us.

“Chelsea and Jade have only been with us a few weeks but already they have made their mark on our business. They are working across all of our client accounts and are enthusiastic and bursting with personality. They are a joy to have in the office.”

Chelsea said: “I feel incredibly lucky to have been given this opportunity, I’ve been treated like an equal regardless of my skill level and I’ve also been made to feel incredibly welcome by the team.”

Jade said: “The Apprenticeship is the best opportunity I have ever been offered. I have learnt more in my first month working here at Prominent than I did throughout a whole year of college. There is such a range of tasks to do and no two days are ever the same. I am beyond excited to continue my apprenticeship, keep learning and widen my knowledge and experience. I’m incredibly proud to be a part of a business that is growing and flourishing”

Prominent was named ‘Outstanding small agency of the year’ at the recent Chartered Institute of PR Pride awards for the Anglia, Thames and Chiltern region.
